Mahindra Scorpio Pros and Cons
-
Scorpio Advantages
Classic traditional boxy SUV looks are still appealing, new chassis and suspension tweaks as well as the mHawk engine make a big difference to the drive experience.
-
Scorpio Disadvantages
Lacking in interior quality and features, touch screen is especially laggy, no automatic or 4x4 option anymore.
-
Expert's Conclusion
Will still appeal to people being a rugged, dependable and imposing SUV on the road. But most will find the interior experience wanting and the lack of an automatic or 4x4 option as restrictive.

Rugged Charm Meets Modern Needs
The Mahindra Scorpio has been with me for a year now and it has been an adventure from the get go. It has the rugged looks and commanding road presence that won me over initially. Powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine that churns out 140 horsepower, it got enough power for both city driving and off road escapades. The ride can get bouncy, especially on poor roads and handling is not its strongest suit reflecting its age old design philosophy. Mahindra has made efforts to modernize the Scorpio with a touchscreen infotainment system and reverse parking camera.

big, bold and beautiful
Mahindra Scorpio as the name suggests itself, this car is a grand car model. Huge in size and a home-like feel from the inside is one of the specialties of Mahindra Scorpio that I admire the most about it. Its fuel tank capacity is good. In-built with safety elements, it assures safety and ease on the road. The maintenance is quite manageable and service cost is average. I have had one of my best driving experiences with this car model.

Amazing but lagging at some point
My Mahindra Scorpio is a popular mid-size SUV in India, known for its ruggedness, off-road capability, and spacious interiors. Its claimed mileage is up to 15.18 kmpl. It has basic features compared to the new Scorpio N . And the safety features might not be as comprehensive as the new Scorpio N. I think its competitors might offer a wider range of features or more comfort-oriented interiors in a similar price range. The new Scorpio N offers a more modern, feature-rich, and powerful option.

Wild Mahindra Scorpio
The Mahindra Scorpio's surprising performance and robust design unlock the power of the feral. It can manage any face, from megacity Streets to out- road trails, thanks to its sturdy construction and advanced technology. There's enough space within the cabin for both my family members and goods, and it's intended for comfort and luxury. The Scorpio's move easily running assures confidence behind the spin, and its important machine produces exhilarating performance. For those appearing for an ultimate SUV for out-of-door adventure, the Mahindra Scorpio is unmatched due to its classic Style and famed good features.

Good value for money
The brakes of this car is very good and the ride and handling is very nice and comes with the start stop system to enhance fuel efficiency. The ground clearance is very good and the dashboard is not big and for turning it is easy and the front seat is comfortable but the rear seat is not so comfortable on the bad road. The steering wheel is light and for the city the mileage is around 10 to 11 and for the highway it gives around 13 km but the automatic trasmission is missing.
